The Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan is an incredible sports venue for watching pro hockey. The city of Detroit is widely known as “Hockeytown” and with eleven Stanley Cup championships and a rabid fanbase that supports one of the most consistent organizations in the NHL, the moniker is well-deserved. Going to a game at “The Joe” is an experience unto itself as fans step into an arena that’s intimidating when faced with all the banners hanging from the rafters signifying a history of winning the in the Motor City. The Detroit Red wings organization has been the model of success that most of the NHL strives to emulate, providing a solid product on the ice that’s embraced by its fans.
When I’m in Detroit, I like to head down to Greektown for pre and post game libations. There are lots of excellent restaurants and pubs in the area that specifically cater to hockey fans. The HockeyTown Café is definitely a must if you’re going to be in town to see the Wings. With lots of Red Wings memorabilia along with some great food and great fans it makes for an excellent place to begin the post game celebration or stop by early to grab some dinner. Seats of a lifetime!

I haven't been to a Wings game at the Joe in a few years. After going to a few sites I came across Ticket City and found 2nd row seats by the players box! Seats like that I thought always went to the season ticket holders. Not tonight. Thank you Ticket City!!!

Ticket City is an awesome website!! I love it!!! I can always count on them to give me awesome tickets!!! I love going to Detroit Red Wings Games with my family and friends!! I have such a good time there. I defenitely recommend Ticket City, and Detroit Red Wings!

Great seats and a great game

Placed an order through Ticket City for hockey tickets about three weeks in advance for the Detroit Red Wings vs Buffalo Sabers game on January 16, 2012. My tickets arrived by FedEx two days after I submitted my on line order which was fast service. Game day arrived and I had a wonderful time at the game. The seats were exactly what I had ordered and I was pleased with Ticket City and the results which I experienced. There are many other ticket brokers you can purchase tickets from, but I believe Ticket City is the best. I will order again from Ticket City in the future.
