Going to a game at Comiskey (I mean U.S. Cellular Field) is definitely a different experience from going to a game on the north side. White Sox fans are a different type of fan. They're blue-collar fans who much like Cubs fans have despaired for long, although that despair was turned upside down in 2005 with a World Series ring. Perhaps it was that single event that has taken some of the edge away from the park. Either way, it's still a wonderful place to watch a baseball game.

Memories to last a lifetime with my son
Date:August 18, 2010
My son, who after college now lives on the east coast, and I decided after he graduated and moved away from Chicago that we would go to a different stadium and watch the White Sox play each year. This year it was at PNC park against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The tickets were cheap enough that we were able to sit in the fourth row behind the White Sox dugout. It is a beautiful park, and it was great weather for a night game. On top of it all, being able to enjoy a game with my son, the White Sox won and when the starting pitcher for the Sox, Mark Buehrle, came out of the game we stood and applauded and were close enough to see him tip his hat to the Sox fans in that section. What a wonderful experience.
