East Lake is one of the finest golf clubs in the Southeast. The greens run fast, but the tour players know how to deal with them. The pin placements are about as tough as any tournament this side of the US Open. I've been four times and not seen anyone birdie the 16th hole - they just bury that pin deep. My biggest compliant is the parking is too far to walk - they need to run more shuttles or find someway to get people closer to the front entrance. That is the only thing that detracts from an otherwise beautiful day.
