Chicago is a great experience...

Date:September 16, 2010
Was heading to Chicago for some personal time with my family when we decided to see a Cubs game. It was our first and it was one of the best experience we have ever had. Wrigley field is truly one of a kind and the people there are incredibly nice. The pizza, hot beef sandwiches and Chicago dog were all great. Food was awesome, atmosphere was great. Ordered the tickets on short notice and received them before the expected date. 15 rows off the 1st base side. It was perfect.

If you happen to live or find yourself in Chicago, you have got to attend a Cubs game. Just a beautiful venue and rich tradition. If you can swing it, I highly recommend buying a pair of less expensive bleacher seats - because that is quite an experience - as well as some reserved seats to sit down and be a little more comfortable later in the game. Although it wasn't necessarily planned, I ended up doing that and it was the perfect solution to experience all of Wrigley field. Section 114 are great seats to be close, but still see all of the action!

An Event Unlike Any Other Cubs Baseball @ Wrigley

Date:August 25, 2010
Perhaps it is the crack of the bat. Or it is the Bleacher Bums yelling at the opposing outfielders. Maybe it is the excitement of playing hooky from school or work. Whatever it is, Wrigley Field has "IT".
Going to a game at Wrigley is less about whether the Cubs win (since we know the likelihood of such an occurrence is slim) and more about the experience. As an American it's just one of those things you have to do before you die, even if you've never watched a baseball game in your life. Wrigley transcends culture, religion, race, rivalry, strife, etc. as it captures the essence of everyone's favorite activity--fun.
It's impossible not to have fun at a game at Wrigley Field. Cubs fans keep flocking to the stadium in record numbers despite the fact their team hasn't won a World Series Title in over 100 years. That proves enough for me.

Cubs game at Wrigley = baseball heaven

Date:August 5, 2010
I've been fortunate to see 3 Cubs game at Wrigley Field and each is among my most cherished sports memories.
A great day at Wrigley starts out with some pre-game festivities in Wrigleyville. I recommend you make a brief stop at Harry Caray's (on Sheffield) to pay homage to the legendary Cubs broadcaster. Then make your way over to the Cubby Bear, which is located right across from the main entrance at Wrigley. Cubby Bear will have a big crowd, but its a lot of fun. It's also a great place to stop after the game.
When you go to a game at Wrigley you want to allow plenty of time to take in the atmosphere. So get inside before the game starts - watch the players warm up, listen to the national anthem and take in the whole experience. Sitting in Wrigley Field has a different feel than any other baseball stadium not named Fenway. You can feel the history at Wrigley; you're sitting in the same park they've been playing baseball for over 80 years.
I sat in the infield, but if you want a more hearty Cubs game experience then buy bleacher seats to sit in the outfield. The beer flows like wine in the bleachers and the "Bleacher Bums" have their own traditions that you won't see anywhere else. But it is an experience you won't ever forget. Definitely go see a Cubs game, it is baseball the way it is meant to be played.
