Glad the event was held indoors in air conditioning. Watching professional tennis up close was very entertaining as it rarely happens in Austin. The Erwin Center ran out of decent food not long into the second match on Friday, about the time Andy Roddick ran out of patience and consistency. Tickets were not inexpensive and was dissapointed Nadal didn't play.

USA Pride Through the Davis Cup
Date:July 11, 2011
Although the USA lost the semi-quarters against Spain, this was one of the most thrilling and pride-filled events that I have attended. It was great to cheer our team on. They played great matches and should feel proud of their effort and the enthusiasm they brought to Austn, Texas and the nation.
My husband is a tennis lover and I bought the three-day passes for the two of us as a surprise 30th anniversary gift. He absolutely loved the gift. Our seats gave us a great view. They tickets were worth every cent. :-)
I was in Dallas Ft. Worth with my mom in 1992. We saw the most amazing Davis Cup finals matches with Andre Agassi, Pete Sampres and Jim Courier. John Macenroe was the coach and it was a brilliant event. Ten year old Andy Roddick was even there watching.
