Go Go Go Joseph - Go Go Go Everybody! Life is much too serious beset with too many problems. Once in a while we need to enjoy an evening of just plain FUN. Nothing deep, nothing thought-provoking. Just FUN. We've just seen "Joseph & His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, MA; and we are going again and encouraging all our friends to do so. The theater has just been resurrected after having closed due to serious financial problems. An "angel" has rescued North Shore and this season began with "Gypsy" (also very good). This is theater in the round - very little scenery, so it must depend upon the quality of the production, the costumes and the musical abilities of the cast. "Joseph" has it all. Tremendous voices, lively production and of course THAT COAT! Sadly, the theater seats have not been full as in the past. Hopefully word of mouth will bring people back. Local, regional theater depends upon fans. We who cannot get to Broadway deserve to enjoy our passion - well done.
