I've been to ACL every year for the past 6-7 years and it keeps getting better every year. Everything from the bands they sign up, to the variety and quality of food and beverage. If you are a music lover, this festival is a must attend event. Attached is a photo backstage at Coheed and Cambria - Great show!
An incredible multi-stage, multi-day event with national and international acts, the ACL Music Festival is an annual must-see for music lovers everywhere. One of the great perks to living in Austin is the phenomenal music and this festival is the epitome. This year, the headliners are Muse, Phish, and The Eagles, but there is already a ton of buzz about many of the other acts including The Strokes, Broken Bells, The Black Keys, Norah Jones, and Austin's own Spoon.
Me, I'm looking most forward to walking through the plush grass, eating a Chicken Cone from the Hudson's on the Bend stand, enjoying a cold one at the Heineken Bar, and watching Deadmau5, Broken Bells, Amos Lee, Beats Antique, Angus & Julia Stone, and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. You can bet I'll be loving the Phish set, too.
Great food (not just corn dogs and kettle corn) is a big plus at this festival. Also love catching some NFL football in the tent in between music sets. One of the best festivals I've attended...this year will be the fourth year in a row for me.

Three Days of Festival Fun
Date:August 10, 2010
This Austin tradition has become one of the highlights I look forward to each year. You need to be ready for large crowds, Texas heat (even with the date change to October) and long days, but in the end it is worth it. The cost of admission is reasonable if you purchase tickets in advance - and definitely go for the three-day pass...you have to purchase before you know the schedule and sometimes it's catching those bands you'd never heard of that make the experience totally worthwhile. Seven stages with hours of music each day means that almost anyone's tastes are covered...and, like I said, what you find out you like may surprise you. And, the food options provide a fun twist to the experience...with local-based businesses setting up tents, it gives the opportunity to revisit an old favorite or try something new.

Best Festival Ever
Date:September 13, 2010
I cannot say enough good things about ACL Festival. It's an amazing experience and each festival I find more music to love and listen to for the rest of the year. There is always some natural disaster of sorts- dust, rain, mud, heat- but somehow through it all my friends and I have a blast.
Some of my favorite shows of my life have been at ACL. Memories made every year...

Last Minute Tickets Saved the Day!
Date:September 19, 2011
Thank goodness for TicketCity! I was able to buy 4 Friday Only tickets very last minute (day before the festival!) and my whole family was able to attend. We enjoyed the music, the Family Friendly Kiddie Limits area and the food was great, too! Thanks to TicketCity my family thinks I am a super cool dad.

ACL, a weekend full of fun for all!
Date:October 16, 2012
Austin City Limits! I've been a fan for years and I am still amazed at the amount of energy and excitement this festival brings every year. Children have a designated area fenced off from the rest of the festival with games and a stage of performers for all kids alike. Merchandise and Arts can be bought and shipped home right here if you don't want them to be damaged by the rain and crowds of 80,000+ people. Absolute Best time and money invested. I only wish i could afford to go every weekend. =D
Austin City Limits festival is the Super Bowl of musical festivals - it's the one that music fans want to attend. The key to ACL is comfortable shoes and a good plan for which bands/performers you want to see. There is so much good music, all going on at same time, that unless you come with a plan you'll probably miss a show you wanted to see. The comfortable shoes are important because you will do a lot of walking. It's also probably an idea to dress for hot weather, because it is still quite warm in Austin in September/October. But the music is great, the food is awesome and its a scene that you have to experience if you are a music fan.

ACL is AMAZING
Date:October 16, 2012
I was only able to purchase a one-day pass to the festival. TicketCity got it to me with plenty of time to spare, and the festival was one of the greatest things I've ever been a part of. The music was just incredible and everyone was having the time of their lives. Forget Disney, ACL is the most magical place on Earth!

Amazing time on ACL
Date:October 18, 2012
I attend to this festival every year for the las 6 years.... simply incredible... I love it...
This year I had to hear what all the hype was about so I bought a 3-day pass to ACL. It was worth every penny! I got to see my favorite bands live on a gorgeous Austin day and tried out some new bands that I've been listening to ever since. I would really recommend going to ACL even if you don't know all the bands in the line-up. Local Austin restaurants set up delicious food stands in the park and water "bars" provide rejuvenation for concert goers. ACL is hands down the best weekend of the year!
ACL always has a great variety of acts every year. Also with them moving the festival later in the year it seem that the artist they are able to get are even better. Not to mention that the weather is nice for being outside with the later date.
It might not be as big as some of the huge summer festival. But it has definitely gained momentum over the years, and will soon be the festival that the people from all over will look forward to more than some of those larger festivals.

ACL Music Festival
Date:September 9, 2010
Great Festival! Be overly prepared. Bring a pancho, sealed water bottles, a folding chair or blanket if you plan to stake out a spot somewhere before one of the shows. Great food is offered. Wahoo's Tacos are amazing!
This year I reccomend going Sunday: Foals 1:15 Portugal The Man 2:00 Gayngs 3-4 Yeasayer 4-5 The Flaming Lips 6-7 The National 7-8 The Eagles 8-10 --- Amazing Lineup! Go Sunday and make sure you take Monday off of work
I attended ACL in 2010, not only did I enjoy every performance, but I enjoyed the experience!! It turned me on to many artist that I have never listen to such as Gracy Potter and the Nocturnals, Two Door Cinema, and Mayer Hawthorne and the County. I also got to see Lissie , Broken Bells and MUSE!!! It was amazing, even in the 100 degree weather. I will be attempting to be at every ACL from here on out!

Great Customer Service!
Date:September 19, 2011
Buying tickets from Ticket City was a wonderful experieince. Great customer service and the ticket selection was great as well. It was a pleasure working with Brian Wallace to find the best tickets at the best price. I would recommend Ticket City and Brian to everyone.
If you love music this is a show you do not want to miss. The lineup is very eclectic and includes music from various genres. I have gone every year for the last five and find it gets better and better every year. Buy the three day passes for the best deal and utilize the buses to avoid crazy parking.
