Mamma Mia was the first Broadway musical I ever saw. A friend dragged me to see it...and afterwards I was glad they did. The energy in the show is captivating and before you know it you're singing along with the chorus. Mamma Mia is an Abba soundtrack, so their hit songs like "Dancing Queen" are prominent through the show. The closing song was "Dancing Queen" and everyone in the theater was standing and singing along with the song. Mamma Mia is a really engaging show and definitely worth seeing if you are looking for a high energy Broadway Show.

Review 2 for Mamma Mia
Different from the Broadway Show
Date:July 20, 2012
First of all i would like to say i loved the Mama Mia on Broadway it was fabulous. For some reason I thought it would be the same crew, but it wasn't. Some of the singers especially the older man wasn't loud and clear like the ny performance. Plus this time I took all my kids, and there was a lot of inapporiate gestures, is it really necessary to grab a guy private or a womans breast to make a point. They did not have anything like that on Broadway and we still loved it. I would still recommend it but its not like as good as Broadway.
