I went to my first Rangers game on the 4th of July. Not only did the Rangers win, but there was a fireworks show following the game. I can't think of many things more American than baseball and fireworks so it was the perfect way to spend the day. Since the Rangers colors are red, white, and blue, it was even better seeing the ballpark filled with America's colors! I'll definitely be going to another game soon.

Angels and Rangers

We went to the Rangers game in July when they played the Angels. The Rangers lost (sad) but it was a great experience for everyone that we went with, including my 10 month old niece who attended her first baseball game! We arrived about 20 minutes late (timeliness with a baby in tow is a challenge for sure!) which caused parking to be a bit of a disaster. I would definitely recommend getting there at least 20 minutes early to avoid that issue. Also, you have to try the garlic fries that can be found on the first level concourse, they are delicious! (Warning: avoid if you are on a date) All in all, the experience was fantastic and definitely a good outing for large groups or families.

There is no such thing as a bad seat in the infield, no matter the level. This was an awesome experience. I can totally recommend that everyone attend a Rangers game. The World Series is electric but so are regular season games. Everyone should go at one time or another.... ten stars

Last Minute Tickets

Date:October 12, 2010
We had a great experience with ticketcity.com. We decided late Friday afternoon that we really wanted to go to the “sold out” game Saturday afternoon. I was excited to find great tickets online at ticketcity.com. Of course there wasn’t enough time to process my request for “next-day tickets” online so I got a message telling me I needed to call customer service. I didn’t picture it going well, but I called anyway because we really wanted to see that game. I had to hold for a minimal amount of time before Kendall came on the line. The particular seats I wanted were already gone, but Kendall was able to locate several other options for me and once I decided on the seats, she processed my transaction very quickly. I received my confirmation email along with my e-tickets in under an hour. Kendall also followed up with a quick phone call to make sure I received her email. I am amazed at how smoothly and quickly the whole transaction took place. I will recommend Ticketcity.com without hesitation to anyone looking for tickets and I will most certainly use them again myself!

Not Sure What to Say

Date:August 25, 2010
Going to a Rangers game is a unique experience for a baseball purist such as myself. It is not at all to say the Rangers' gameday operations don't make it feel like a baseball game. In fact, they very much do. However, it also feels like a basketball, hockey, and football game combined.
That being said, the stadium is absolutely gorgeous and one of the most classic-looking stadiums in the entire game. And if you like home runs, you'll like seeing a game in Arlington. The Rangers love to hit them, and the ballpark is extremely conducive to such an attack. And maybe that is why I'm a little confused. It looks like a baseball stadium, yet everything else makes it seem like it's something else. Baseball is no longer a game of home runs. It's about pitching and defense, yet the Rangers still thrive on the long ball. It's an oddity to say the least.

Rangers vs. Yankess = Playoff Atmosphere

Date:August 12, 2010
Went to watch the Rangers take on the Yanks, who were making their only appearance at the Ballpark this season. The game did not disappoint, as it was a back-and-forth affair that the Rangers finally pulled out in the 10th inning! Go Rangers Go!
Taking the family out to a baseball game is one of my favorite things to do. It's a fairly inexpensive family outing, as yu are allowed to bring in coolers with Food, Drinks, Snacks to keep everyone happy and keep costs to a minimum! (No Glass, Aluminum Cans, or Alchohol)

Texas Rangers

Date:August 30, 2010
A game at Rangers Ballpark is one of the underrated experiences in sports. The ballpark is attractive, the fans are hospitable, and the Rangers are on track to be 2010 AL West champs.
Get yourself a beer and a hot dog, then settle in to watch one of the best pitching staffs in the AL and the best player in baseball, Josh Hamilton.
Go Rangers!

GREAT TIME

Date:October 18, 2010
2nd time to use Ticket City. I was buying tickets for the Rangers / Yankees game 2 10/16/10. After clicking on the purchase tab, I got a response that the shipping method I had selected was no longer an option. As I was about to begin trying to correct the problem my cell phone rang, the guy idetified himself as Rick with Ticket City. He took care of the shipping problem and in a minute or so I received a confirmation to my e mail... Super Service, I will use Ticket City every time I need tickets.
Thanks

Rangers game a great time, even in Summer

Date:August 11, 2010
I've had a great at the Texas Rangers game I attended. It was in July, so it was very hot outside - but the game was an evening game and the Ballpark cooled off nicely with a little breeze.
We got to the game early and hung out in the reserved seats in right field during batting practice. It's a great place to try to grab a few home run balls. During the game I recommend the reserved seats down the 1st base or 3rd base line - they offer a great view of the action on the field.

Great family experience

Date:August 24, 2010
I have gone to the Rangers games for years with my family. It's a great family atmosphere and lots of fun for everyone. Every age group seems to have a good time, and the stadium does well to keep younger childern's atention. We have always had a great time and look forward to going every year.

This game was AMAZING! The weather was perfect! The stadium is awesome! I just wished we could have afforded better seats! I drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back right after the game. I would totally do it again!

Nothing but the Best

Date:August 11, 2010
Our experience was everything Americas past is suppose to be. We had cold beer, hotdogs, loud fans, and seats in the shade. We are going back to watch the rangers beat those yankees.
