It was June 1980 and I was feelin pretty down when I heard about a Superjam concert being held at Busch Stadium. I thought "This is just what I need right now." So me and some friends got together and when we got there it was unbelievable. The stadium was packed. We had GA tickets so it was all good. The only bad part was I am 5'2 and I couldn't see anything. Not until this nice gentleman next to me said I could get on top of his shoulders if I wanted to see. Man, it was great. Sammy Hagar, Judas Priest, Journey, April Wine, and Shooting Star. It was about 100 degrees that day and everyone was so hot they brought out some hoses and sprayed everyone off!! It was so awesome. I ended up soaking wet with a sunburn but it was still the most awesome experience at a concert I've ever been to. Busch Stadium is great. I'm looking forward to seeing U2 there on July 17, 2011.
